A possible auxiliary fort was reported east of the present village, on the right bank of the Olt. The existence of a small stone fortification (30-30 m) was assumed here. Masonry elements, tiles, bricks, slag pits, terra sigillata and provincial ceramics were also reported, in the “Rovină” point.
In 1977, C. M. Vlădescu and N. Moghior made three surveys in areas where a fort could be identified. Their results signalled artefacts datable in the Roman period, but not the relevant structures.
