The present study discusses two bracelets found in the cemetery from Caransebeș-Centru, during the excavations made at the medieval necropolis. Until recently, these adornments have remained unknown, as a result of a misidentification in the archaeological literature. One of these bracelets was discovered in a grave dated to 11th-12th centuries, but for the second one we cannot know for sure. Both bracelets are Balkan adornments, with analogies in the Byzantine area, but also in the regions situated at the north of the Danube, more precisely Banat and Oltenia. They belong to a large cultural area, including fairly compact at that time the territories situated at the north of the Danube.
