New Data Concerning Prehistoric Watercourse Circulation

Abstract:

The article discusses several items viewed as boat anchors, discovered in the Neo-Eneolithic tell from Hârşova, belonging to Boian and Gumelniţa layers. The items found in Carsium Museum collections and in Hârşova site’s deposit were analyzed following typological, raw material provenience, technological and functional related aspects, emphasizing their meaning concerning Eneolithic watercourse circulation data.
