Abstract:
A settlement has been identified during the rescue diggings performed in the west of the outskirts of the town Ţăndărei. It was partially destroyed, because of the contemporary buildings and agricultural works. The archaeological sections allowed for the uncover of a hut-type house with some rectangular shape, two fireplaces next to it and some garbage pits.
According to the quality of the paste, the vessel shapes and decoration shards are to be divided into two categories.
The analogies with the discoveries from other neighbouring settlements reveal that this whole archaeological inventory characteristic for the 10th — 11th centuries A. D.
